The University of Northern Iowa football season opener on Aug. 30 against the University of Iowa Hawkeyes will be shown live on the Big Ten Network. The Panthers and Hawkeyes will kick off at 11 a.m. at Kinnick Stadium. UNI has finished the year in the top 25 in 10 of the last 13 seasons. UNI has had 35 student-athletes named to the MVFC All-Conference first team since 2007, the most in the league. Coach Mark Farley has guided the Panthers to a record of 67-29 for an impressive .697 winning percentage in league play. Farley is the MVFC's all-time coaching wins leader with 67 league victories.
